It's a shared, real-time canvas. Everyone sees the same board and edits appear live for all viewers. The outer border is open to everyone in greyscale. The inner 144 lots are owned — connect a wallet holding a lot and you can draw on it; only the owner can paint their lot, and owners draw in full colour.

When you're happy with a lot, you turn your painting into a real on-chain artwork — a signed PNG you download and inscribe to Bitcoin.

First, how a lot shows art: each lot is a tiny inscription that renders itself, and it always displays the newest valid piece of art attached to it — a child inscription or a reinscription (both explained below). A signature is what makes a piece “valid”.

When you inscribe a lot, the site renders your painting as a real PNG image and adds a tiny cryptographic signature inside the file. That signature is made with the app's key over your exact pixels bound to your lot number.

The on-chain lot engine checks that signature before it displays anything. So a lot will only ever show art that was genuinely made with this tool for that lot — nobody can fake art onto someone's lot, and the image still opens as a normal PNG anywhere.

Yes — it's just a picture. The file you download is a plain PNG image. Images can't run code or touch your wallet; opening one only paints pixels. Saving it is exactly as safe as saving any photo.

Every file the app makes contains only four things, in order: the PNG header, your image data (the pixels you drew, compressed the normal way), one text tag holding the signature, and the end marker. That's the whole file — no scripts, no macros, no embedded files, no links, no hidden data.

Don't take our word for it — verify it:

• Open it in any image viewer → it's your art, nothing else.
• Run it through pngcheck or any online “PNG chunk viewer” → you'll see only IHDR, IDAT, tEXt(sig), IEND.
• Drop it into VirusTotal → a clean image passes every scanner.

The signature is your strongest proof. It's a cryptographic signature over the exact image, checkable against the tool's public key. If a single pixel were altered — or anything injected into the image — the check fails. So the file is provably the untouched output of the tool, containing only what it made.

And the app itself never asks you to sign a transaction — connecting a wallet is read-only (just your address, to check ownership). No signature request means it can't move your assets, full stop.

Each lot is a small inscription that renders itself. There are two owner-only ways to give it art — both are signed and verified the same way, and the engine always shows the newest valid one:

Child — your art is a separate inscription that names the lot as its parent. Only the lot's owner can create one, so parentage proves it's genuine. Easy and widely supported. The child is its own object: if you sell the lot, the art stays behind but the lot still renders it through the parent link.

Reinscription — your art is inscribed directly onto the lot's own sat (the exact satoshi the lot lives on). Only whoever holds that sat — the current owner — can do it. Because the art rides the lot's sat, it travels with the lot when it's sold. More powerful, but harder to make: it needs a wallet that can target that specific sat.

In short: child = simplest, art is a linked object; reinscription = art is bound to the lot itself and transfers on sale. Same engine, artist's choice.

When you inscribe, you choose how the lot shows your work:

Newest — the lot displays only your most recent piece (default).

Slideshow — the lot cycles through your pieces automatically, 2 seconds each, looping forever — a live on-chain animation rather than a fixed GIF, so it always includes new work. Press and hold the artwork to pause on a frame; release to resume.

The slideshow follows one lane, set by your current piece: if your newest is a child, it cycles the children; if it's a reinscription, it cycles the reinscriptions.

Instead of inscribing one piece at a time, you can build up a batch and inscribe them all at once — fewer steps, cheaper than going one by one.

How: paint a lot → ⧉ inscribe → tap ＋ add to batch. Repeat as many times as you like. Each added piece shows in the batch tray (with a thumbnail); remove any with ✕, or clear the lot. When you're ready, tap ⬇ download all (.zip) — you get one zip of all your signed PNGs to inscribe as a batch.

Saved to your wallet. Your batch is stored against your Bitcoin address, not your device — so you can start it on your phone and pick it up on a laptop with the same wallet, and it survives clearing your browser. You need your wallet connected to use it.

Tied to the lot. A batch piece only makes sense while you hold its lot — so if a lot moves to another address (you sell or transfer it), that lot's pieces are automatically removed from your batch.

The border is greyscale and free — a shared frame anyone contributes to. Only a lot's owner can draw on it — and owners draw in full colour, so the coloured centre is entirely owner-made. Border art never draws over a lot, even an owned one.

To draw the border: tap draw (bottom-left), then drag on the outer frame — no wallet needed. Open the palette for the border greys, or just paint with any colour and it lands as greyscale.
